Bunny Aid takes place April 4th-14th, 2022.
Peter Cottontail and United Way Hands On need your help! We are asking the public to make Easter Baskets for children at agencies such as Pathways, YWCA, Aids Alabama, The Salvation Army and the Ronald McDonald House, just to name a few. We estimate that we will need 2,500 baskets.
Easter baskets can include:
- candy
- non-perishable items
- small stuffed animals
- coloring books
- crayons/markers
- toys for boys and girls of all ages
- chips
- snack cakes
- fingernail polish
- brush and comb sets
- purse/wallet
- notebooks
- reading books
- sports items
- toiletries
- water bottles
- fun games
Easter baskets should be wrapped with cellophane for easy transportation, and each basket should be labeled for age and gender.
We are also accepting Easter baskets for senior citizens with such items as toiletries, brush and comb sets, crossword puzzles, soft snacks, small stuffed animals, etc.
