Tommy Russell has devoted his retirement to service, working as a volunteer with Woodlawn United Methodist Church’s food ministry. In the past 20 years, he’s made more than 800 trips to the Community Food Bank of Central Alabama and driven thousands of miles making deliveries. He even put together a food-delivery program for seniors with mobility issues in the Woodlawn neighborhood.
