Annamaria Santiago is the Volunteer Co-Director of Anytown Alabama, a teen leadership summit focused on social justice and conducted through the YWCA. The program brings together a diverse group of 80 high school students from throughout the Birmingham metro area. Annamaria’s passion for the program dates back long before she took on her present role, as she was a participant herself as a high school student. That experience made a deep impression on her and gave her unique perspective on the program’s lasting impact on young lives.
