Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive
Join the Nation’s Largest One-Day Food Drive
Each year on the second Saturday in May, United Way of Central Alabama proudly partners with the National Association of Letter Carriers (NALC) Branch 530 and The Community Food Bank of Central Alabama to support the Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive. Now in its 30th year, this nationwide effort has become the largest one-day food drive in the United States, helping stock the shelves of local food banks and pantries across the country.
Since its launch in 1993, the Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive has played a vital role in addressing food insecurity, ensuring that countless families have access to the nutrition they need. Letter carriers across the nation collect non-perishable food donations directly from homes, making it easy for everyone to get involved.
